Fathers hold a special place in every child’s heart and while it is enough to say thanks, there are many different way to show your appreciation and gratitude for everything they do. From making crafts to writing cards and cooking meals to playing games, we bring you a variety of Father’s Day activities which kids can participate in alone or as a team, each time resulting in a beautiful memory.

 

Families for Life: “Celebrating Fathers” Picnic

There’s no better way to show your father a good time than to surround him with family. Prepare him for an evening of fun, joy and laughter surrounded by Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park’s lush greenery. Take part in a father-child team race, design your very own Daddy award ribbon, enjoy live music performances and cap it all with a movie under the stars.

SAFRA Mount Faber: Father and Child Soccer Day Out

Pair up with your dad and take part in a line-up of fun activities including PS4 soccer, Foosball, Poolball and Scavenger Hunt. Once you’ve had your fill of games take a break to colour and design your own soccer jerseys and trophies.

Singapore Sports Hub: Dad’s Day Out

Get ready to participate in a host of fun activities with your entire family. Dads, you will be delighted to hear there will be free head, shoulder and neck massages for you. Redeem goodie bags when you take part in ‘Dads Challenge’ activities and enjoy free breakfast sets if you manage to be one of 300 families to check in.

Singapore Art Museum: Music in the Museum (A Father’s Day Special)

Looking for a unique experience to share with your father? Singapore Art Museum combines art and music resulting in an enchanting performance by The Young Musician’s Foundation Orchestra. Inspired by artworks from the museum’s ongoing Imaginarium exhibition you will find yourself transported to another time and space.

Spurbox: Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies (Father’s Day Special)

Enjoy a baking class with your dad and bring home freshly made giant chocolate chip cookies. Kids 7-12 can come by themselves and surprise their fathers with their hard work, while kids 7 and under need to bring a parent (why not Dad?) so they can safely enjoy the experience together. All materials including chef hat and apron will be provided.

SAFRA Jurong: Creative Bento Art Bonding Workshop

This father’s day, gift your dad a special experience consisting of a handmade bento filled with healthy goodies. Enjoy quality time with your dad as you concoct a fresh and delicious meal that you can enjoy together. FYI: If you’re one of the first 15 to register, you receive a free car wash! Your dad is sure to love this bonus!

My Gym: Fish Painting Workshop

Hey dads, join your little ones to enjoy some quality bonding time and show your creativity at the same. Inspired by Hawaiian artist Shawn Ardoin, this art project will have you and your child drawing and colouring tropical fish. Hang the completed work in your home or office to remind you of your child’s love and hard work every day.

Let’em Play: Amazing Race (Father’s Day edition)

Head to this indoor climbing facility where kids and dads will get to scale climbing walls and conquer tasks on the high elements obstacle course. Dynamic father-pair duos will have to complete tasks at several pit stops all around Singapore. Activities will range from Combat Skirmish to Bloop Soccer and even Beach Telematches, all of them making for an unforgettable father-child bonding experience.

My Art Pencil: Key Chain Painting (Father’s Day Booth 2018)

What better way to make dad feel special than creating a handmade craft for him to remind him of his importance in their child’s life? Head to My Art Pencil’s shopper’s booth at Hougang Mall to paint key chains cut and printed as a shirt and necktie. Paint a funny one if you want to surprise your dad or make it a fun bonding session with him.
