Singapore American School (SAS) is a non-profit, co-educational international school offering the American curriculum to students in preschool through high school. With 4000 students on its 36-acre campus, it is the largest school to offer the American curriculum outside the U.S. It has a low student-teacher ratio across all its classes and the majority of its teachers are from the U.S. Since 1956, SAS has been providing its students with an exceptional American education coupled with an international experience. Their attention to each student's personal learning journey as well as a strong emphasis on sports and extra-curricular activities ensures that their students develop leadership, strong character, compassion and academic excellence. The early learning centre (ELC) for ages 3-4 is a self-contained and cosy area for the young ones where they enjoy ample time in the playgrounds, library, perceptual motor class and daily Mandarin classes.
