There will costumes, there will be sets, there will lighting and of course lots and lots of acting. Kids who enjoy the spotlight will have a blast honing their skills at these drama classes. For kids who who don’t feel comfortable being centre stage, don’t fret. There won’t be a shortage of qualified and enthusiastic instructors to guide your way either under the lights or behind them. Parents get ready to watch your little ones own the stage!
There will be drama, there will be arts, there will movie making, there will be music. What there will NOT be is boredom! Evolve Arts kicks its creativity into high gear as summer approaches. Kids can get in on the action by joining the May Mashup camp where they will be exposed to a variety of performing arts. Otherwise come first of July, there’s always the Summer Holidays Creative Drama Camps where participants can look forward to holding a presentation at the end of each week.
Fear of public speaking is a paramount problem so why not help kids overcome this issue as early as possible. In June, Speech Academy Asia will offer full day camps where over the course of 2 days kids can pick up techniques on body language, voice, emotions and speech crafting in addition to unleashing their inner courage and boosting their confidence. Lessons will be conducted both indoors and outdoors and hands-on learning will hope to inspire them to think like leaders.
The Arts House – Little Shakespeare
What better way to introduce little ones to one of the world’s greatest playwrights than to have them enact a little Shakespearean production. The Play Den’s first literary arts workshop for pre-school kids will allow them to explore the enchanting world of Macbeth through 1.5 hours of fun-filled speech and drama activities with crafts this June.

ACT 3 Drama Academy’s ever popular workshops encourage kids to make their mark and exercise their artistic freedom. Sign up for engaging Parent-Child workshops It’s Just a Box or The Lost Toys with your 7-36 month old to push their imagination and ignite their inner creativity. 3-4 years old will be delighted to act in an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s Toys Alive. 5-7 years old can embark on an adventurous journey with Hans Christian Anderson’s The Steadfast Tin Soldier. 8-10 year olds can take part in the classic production of Beauty and the Beast while 11-16 year olds will get the chance to solve a murder mystery.
Kids Performing – Academy of the Arts
In Baby Booster, kids 5-6 years old will have a blast singing, dancing and acting to their hearts content. In Prepping for the Hot Seat, 10-11 year olds can get valuable pointers on how to become ready for the secondary school of their choice. School of Rock is a 5-day musical theatre camp for 7-11 year olds culminating in a performance showcase for the parents. For kids who can’t choose between music, drama and broadcast enrol them in the Who I Want To Be camp where they can work their way into being featured in bite-size performances and broadcasts on Kids Performing’s own Youtube channel.
Bubbling Talents Starter is filled with 3 days of fun, games and exercises to develop basic acting skills ending in a performance showcase for the parents. Watch kids prepare their very own radio segment in Junior Radio Academy. Get your kids to take an interest in world news and improve communication and presentation skills in Little Reporters. Wanna take it up a notch? Sign them for Little Reporters in Mandarin. Or they can take Fun with Mandarin for a full-blown curriculum.
