Description
The National Equestrian Centre is a community facility dedicated to promoting equestrian sports and recreation. They offer riding lessons for all levels (beginner to competitive) and provide private as well as group lessons. The minimum age for lessons is 5 years. They also have a Pony Playgroup which is a fun way to introduce your kids (ages 3-6) to ponies and horses in a safe and controlled environment. They are taught important safety rules like how to approach a horse, where to stand and how to lead a horse. Kids also get to take rides on the ponies and end the session by making treats for the ponies which they can then feed them.
