Inlinex

Retail store cum skate school Inlinex provides users with gears and helmets during lessons, so customers can learn to skate before buying the products at their store. Qualified instructors help kids focus on enhancing their motor-skills and limb eye coordination without compromising on fun or safety. Book a free trial today in one of their many indoor/outdoor locations across Singapore. Check out their 5-day camp ($150) where kids will learn the correct standing postures and safety aspect before learning to stride, stop and turn.

Skate With Us

Skate with Us is the only skate school in Singapore which has a Born to Skate syllabus for children as young as 3 years old. These lessons have been carefully researched and catered to teach young kids not only the essentials of this tricky sport but to enable them to have an awesome time while doing so. They also have birthday party packages available. During the September break, kids aged 3-12 years can sign up for the Smart Explorers Camp ($198-$568) where they will be able to build confidence and make friends while learning how to skate.

Cost: FREE Trial class (on designated days – bring your own skates), 7 years+:  $95 (4 lessons), 3-7 years: $165 (4 lessons)

Inline Fitness

This is the place to go for kids who want to up their skating game a notch. Kids 8 years and above will be taught everything from basic to advanced technical skills by internationally certified coaches. Choose from scenic training sites in East Coast Park, West Coast Park , Woodlands and Jurong West.

Cost: $20 (Registration), $95 (4 lessons)

Skateline

Skateline is considered a pioneer in the inline skating field in Singapore. It is the only skate school in Asia to meet the stringent requirements of the Inline Certification Programme International and is the only one in its field to offer an insurance cover for all skaters taking lessons with Skateline. In 2001, Skateline employed full time professional coaches to assist in the development of inline Hockey and continues to support the National Inline Hockey League. In addition to weekly lessons, Skateline also holds regular camps and currently has limited slots for its 3-day session ($105) at the Pasir Ris Sports & recreation Centre.

Cost: $20 (Beginner lesson), $110 (4 Group sessions), $80 (Private lesson)

EXIS

Not sure if skating is up your alley? No worries. EXIS offers you affordable lessons and the equipment rental is free of cost for the first 4 lessons, giving you enough time to figure out if you want to continue. Once you do decide, sign up for a either a weekday/weekend group package or opt for private lessons. Have fun learning skating at your own pace.

Cost: $20 (Trial), $30 (1 lesson), $100 (4 lessons)

Skaters Academy

Skaters Academy offers kids aged 5 and older the opportunity to pick up the basics of inline skating, including standing and falling safety, heel braking and forward scootering. This is an active sport which not only keeps your little ones fit but acts as a source of entertainment for hours.

Cost: $80 (4 group lessons), $320 (4 Private lessons)

Skatesports

At SkateSports, Coach Hanson and his team of well-qualified and sports driven coaches will teach your kids the A B C’s of inline skating and skateboarding through fun filled activities. You no longer have to drag your child from in front of the telly. Pull out their skates and watch them head to the door for a day of fitness and adventure.

Cost: $137 (4 classes) $277 (8 classes)

Doorstep Skating

Parents now have the convenience of having a certified skating instructor come to their choice of venue to teach their child the fundamentals of this tricky yet attractive sport. Coach Ryan is an ICP certified skating coach who is extremely passionate and driven about passing on his skills to anyone who is interested, especially kids. Oh and he can teach them to cycle as well!

Cost: $30-60 (Trial class depending on group size), $80-220 (4 lessons depending on group size)
